Are there any Christians who DON'T think that God is omnipotent or are there any Christians who don't think?

that God loves us ? Or both ? If so, what is your denomination and is that typical of the people in your denomination ? I ask b/c the idea that an omnipotent entity loves us and yet, lets us suffer seems so obviously wrong that it keeps me from even entertaining the idea that there's some 'God' to even bother thinking about.
