What are the pro's and con's of a FN FAL?

Im looking into getting one. I want somethig in .308, but can't decide what. FN FAL looks the best, with the built in bipod, rock and lock mags (Im used to it with my AK) better charging handle placement, better mag catch placement and the stocks that are available. I just need to know from REAL OWNERS NO COD ARMCHAIR WARRIORS PLEASE, about your experience with this over other semi auto battle rifles in .308
