People who believe in both God and evolution -- how do you make these two ideas mesh?

Evolution is nothing more than a theory, not a fact, a theory that has not been proven. There is fact and evidence in the Bible from the beginning to end because it is God's word. It can't be disputed, but evolution obviously can. I think the smart man tries to get in this respect, the dumber he shows himself to God.
